4 months old

Lily is a busy girl. Growing, rolling, laughing and "talking" to her mommy and daddy all of the time! She turned 4 months on Feb. 23rd...where has the time gone? She is weighing in at 14 lbs, 12 oz and is 26 inches tall. She is in the 97th percentile for height, wonder who she gets it from?? I have been horrible about keeping this blog up to date, but going back to work and juggling everything has been a challenge. Here are the latest pics of our girl.

Had to share these! Lily and I had such a blast last night w/ our sunglasses. Lilybug is getting so big, I just can't believe how fast the time flies by. She is laughing and "talking" to us all of the time.

The 1st of many (hopefully)

I have decided it is time to start a blog for our family. However as a wife, mother and teacher I am wondering if I will have the time to keep it up. At the least, I will post monthly updates on Lily, as I am sure you all care much more to hear about her than Chris and I. ;)

As I say goodbye to 2008 I can't help but get a little sentimental. On February 16, 2008 I learned that I was FINALLY pregnant! God had heard our prayers and answered them. It was an amazing journey, one that we both learned so much from (hello, patience!) We welcomed our little girl into the world on October 23, and have been enjoying the ride of parenthood since then. As wonderful as 2008 was, I know that 09 will be an even more exciting year for our family. Hopefully you'll stick around to see the excitement!
